About
Read 18 e-book formats — EPUB, PDF, TXT, MOBI, AZW3, DOCX, comics and more — with paged, double-page or scrolling layouts, text-to-speech, translation, highlights and notes. Books and notes are written to a real folder on your disk through a bundled native sidecar.

18 book formats, paged/double-page/scrolling layouts, text-to-speech, translation, highlights and notes, real on-disk library via native sidecar, in-app folder picker. v1.2.2: visible previous/next page buttons in every paged layout, working double-page spread, swipe-to-turn on touch screens, and imported PDFs now keep the file name on disk instead of the stale embedded title. v1.2.3: PDFs whose embedded fonts cannot be mapped are detected automatically and re-rendered with system fonts, so Chinese text is readable instead of showing the wrong characters. v1.2.4: paged layouts no longer push the paper off-screen — text now paginates inside a fixed page while the sheet stays put, so single and double page both show complete, readable pages for TXT and every other text format; double page actually splits the screen in two; code and command lines are no longer stretched by justification; the page adds proper inner margins. v1.2.5: Chinese PDFs whose embedded fonts cannot be mapped now recover both the page text and the document metadata (title/author) instead of showing mojibake; detection samples several pages so files with a clean cover no longer slip through. Translation and WebDAV backup now go through the bundled native sidecar, because the host sandbox blocks page-level fetch — so any OpenAI-compatible endpoint or self-hosted WebDAV server works, not just a hard-coded allow-list. The folder picker gains a real address bar (paste D://Books and press Enter), an "open in file manager" button, and a narrow-panel layout that no longer truncates folder names to a single character. The .dbxp now ships LICENSE, THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md and every third-party licence text, and all book HTML is sanitised by one strict allow-list before it is mounted.
